Now Ratan himself has responded to this. He has asked people to close the campaign saying that he considers himself lucky to be an Indian.

Ratan has tweeted from his official Twitter handle, ‘I respect the sentiments of people seeking to give me Bharat Ratna on social media but I humbly request that such campaigns be discontinued.

I consider myself fortunate to be an Indian and contribute to the development and prosperity of India. ‘

Explain that there is a demand for giving Bharat Ratna to Ratan Tata on Twitter. Many users are writing that he is the real gem of India. Therefore they should get this highest honor.
