Trump’s attempts to build a wall on the Mexico border come as a big blow to the court

Washington, Reuters. A US court has slammed President Donald Trump’s efforts to build a 450-mile-long wall on the Mexico border. The El Paso district court in Texas prohibited the transfer of an amount of $ 360 million (about 25 thousand crores) from the military construction fund for this wall.

Last October, the same court of Judge David Briones called the US Department of Defense’s attempt to get funds for wall construction illegal. Human rights groups filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration’s order in this federal court.

Trump has been asking to build a wall on the border to prevent incursions into the US through Mexico since the last presidential election campaign. After not giving enough funds from the US Parliament for this, he even declared a state of emergency in February this year.

Expressing his happiness over the Mangalwar judgment, the prosecution counsel said that the US court is capable of stopping the President’s arbitrary decision. . The Trump administration will appeal against this decision.
