According to a report by the news agency Xinhua, Africa’s WHO regional director Matshidiso Moiti said that government-imposed guidelines in the country, such as partial lockdown, social distancing and hand washing, led to corona threats in the country in the coming times Can be reduced.
He said that earlier a model had been developed by WHO according to which Corona would have an extreme impact in 5 weeks in Africa and it was estimated that 26 percent of the country’s population would be vulnerable. The model was designed based on community transition. But with the help of appropriate precaution, the government has slowed the pace of spread of corona infection in the country. Apart from this, its effect is quite less in rural areas also there has been a decrease in the number of infected people.
