The last rites of all the jawans including CDS General Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat will be performed today with full military honors. Full preparations have been made for this. The last rites of Brigadier LS Lidder, an advisor to General Bipin Rawat, who lost his life in this accident, will be performed at Delhi Cantt at around 9:30 am.
Let us tell you that the mortal remains of all the soldiers killed in the Coonoor helicopter were brought to Delhi by special aircraft on Thursday. Several other dignitaries including the Prime Minister paid their tributes to these soldiers at the Delhi airport. CDS General Bipin Rawat’s helicopter crashed in Coonoor on Wednesday due to bad weather. In this accident, 13 people were killed out of 14 aboard the helicopter. In this accident, only Group Captain Varun Singh has survived, who is currently on life support. Every effort is being made to save them.
