Mukesh Ambani : Reliance oil refinery sends 100 tons of oxygen for covid patients

100 tonnes of oxygen has been sent to Maharashtra from Mukesh Ambani Reliance’s oil refinery company based in Jamnagar in Gujarat.

It will be used to treat Covid-19 patients. Former Union Minister Milind Deora has praised Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani for this step.

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had a day earlier demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi be supplied by air from other states due to acute shortage of oxygen in the state.

Meanwhile, Mukesh Ambani took a big initiative. State Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde has confirmed 100 tonnes of oxygen from Reliance.

100 tonnes of oxygen will be supplied from the Jamnagar refineries. One person said that this supply is being done on humanitarian basis.

The number of infection patients is also increasing in Gujarat. Sources said four dozen trucks were stranded in Jamnagar.

Reliance Industries, a company of the country’s top industrialist Mukesh Ambani, is supplying oxygen produced in its refineries to states like Maharashtra badly hit by Kovid. However, trucks sent by the company are stuck on the way to Gujarat.

Those involved in the case said that Reliance’s two refineries in Jamnagar have converted industrial oxygen into medical use oxygen through a slight change in the process. It can be used for patients with Kovid-19.

Uddhav’s letter to the PM due to lack of fast supply,

another source said that these trucks are stuck in Jamnagar because the local administration has stopped them.

Due to lack of fast supply, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has also written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sources said four dozen trucks were stranded in Jamnagar. There was no response from Reliance Industry in this regard.
