Vaccination drive started on January 16 

Removing the restrictions related to corona vaccination, the central government has allowed vaccination of all persons above 18 years of age from 1 May. 

However, more than a dozen states including Delhi, MP, Chhattisgarh have complained that they do not have the vaccine only so that people of this age group can be vaccinated. 

Corona vaccination campaign started in the country from 16 January. In the initial phase, there was a campaign to vaccinate healthcare workers and front line workers. 

Later, the vaccination was started for the elderly over 60 years and for the sick people above 45 years of age. Lastly, the government started vaccination for all people above 45 years of age.

 However, the states were constantly demanding that the age-old restrictions in vaccination be removed and all adults should be vaccinated.
