Sonu also provided basic necessities like food kit and sanitizer to the passengers with the help of Government of Maharashtra. Through this, more than one thousand migrant laborers were sent to their homes.
Speaking on the matter, according to a report published in the Indian Express, Sonu said, “The trains with migrants left today from Thane to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. We have arranged meal kits and sanitizers for all our passengers. I thank the Government of Maharashtra for their help. I am sure to do everything in my capacity to help the migrants. I have promised to stay until the last migrant reaches home. ‘
