Born in Tonk district of Rajasthan, Irfan breathed his last on April 29, 2020 at Mumbai Kokilaben Hospital. His full name was Sahabzade Irfan Ali Khan. Irfan had been fighting a battle with a disease called Neuroendocrine tumour for two years before his death . So we waited for a year for them to recover. ‘ Homi said, ‘After being away from the screen for so long, when Irfan came to meet me, he was like a clean slate, he thought he had forgotten the acting. But when he started shooting, it proved wrong. Irrfan Khan is a brilliant actor, acting is in his blood. I have never worked with actors like him.
