The Big Bull Vs Scam 1992: Know why the comparison is not right, the director of the web series, Hansal Mehta, explained the reason
New Delhi On Friday, the trailer of Abhishek Bachchan’s film The Big Bull was released. The film’s story is inspired by the life of Harshad Mehta, the mastermind of the stock market scam that rocked the country in the nineties. Abhishek is playing the character Hemant Shah in the film. Reactions have started coming to social media as soon as the trailer is released. Some of these people are comparing it to Hansal Mehta’s much-talked-about and acclaimed web series Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story, which Hansal Mehta termed as incorrect.
The Big Bull is directed by Kuki Gulati, while the film is produced by Ajay Devgan. The film will be released on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP on 8 April. On Friday, Ajay Devgan shared the trailer of the film, one user wrote that the effort is good, but it has faded in front of Hansal Mehta and Prateik Gandhi’s scam 1992 web series, which is the father of all web series. Hansal Mehta answered this.
Hansal tweeted- Please, do not compare unfairly. There can be many ways to tell the same story. Every storyteller shows the story in his own way and everyone should see each other separately. There are so many capable people in this film, as if I were on the show. They have given their best and they need your love. Hansal also praised Abhishek Bachchan’s work. Let me tell you, Ileana D’Cruz, Nikita Dutta, Saurabh Shukla and Soham Shah will be seen in important roles with Abhishek Bachchan in The Big Bull.
The web series Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story streamed on Sony Live last year was a huge success. Prateik Gandhi played the role of Harshad Mehta in this series. Prateik’s strong acting in this character brought him tremendous popularity.
