Maruti Suzuki introduced the facelift model of its Vitara Brezza during Auto Expo 2020 and now the company has launched it in India. Till now the Vitara Brezza was available only in the diesel variants and now it will be available for sale only in the petrol variants. In the new Brezza, now the company has made not only the new BS6 petrol engine but also many cosmetic changes. Along with this, the company is also giving all the customization options in it. Along with the petrol engine, the company has also given an option of automatic transmission and mild-hybrid system in it.

What changes in the exterior from the old model?

Talking about styling upgrades, the 2020 Vitara Brezza gets a new chrome grille and bigger air intakes with revised bumpers and a faux skid plate. Along with this, the company has given a new LED daytime running lights and LED projector lens in the new headlamps. Not much change will be seen in the side profile and 16-inch alloy wheels are also given in it. At the same time, the company has given new LED taillights in the rear. The new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza facelift is now given three new dual-tone color options – Midnight Black Roof with Sizzling Red, Midnight Black Roof with Torque Blue and Autumn Orange Roof with Granite Gray.

What’s new in the interior?

The company has given a new upholstery in the new Vitara Brezza. Along with this, it has a leather-covered steering wheel and an updated 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with the SmartPlay Studio 2.0 interface, which you get to see in Maruti’s latest cars.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza first comes with a 1.3 liter DDiS engine, which only came with a manual gearbox. However, now the company has given a petrol BS6 engine in it which comes with a 1.5 liter K-series unit and in this the company has given mild-hybrid SHVS technology. This engine generates power of 102 bhp at 6000 rpm and torque of 134 Nm at 4400 rpm. This motor is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Vitara Brezza is equipped with 5 variants manual transmission and 4 variants with automatic variants.
