Deepak Chahar’s ‘six’ hit Bangladesh, India won 2-1 T20 series

India defeated the visiting team Bangladesh by 30 runs in the third and decisive T20 International match played at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur and won the three-match T20 series 2-1. Batting first after losing the toss, Team India scored 174 runs after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs and gave Bangladesh a target of 175 runs to win. In response, Bangladesh’s team could only manage 144 runs for 10 wickets in 19.2 overs. Deepak Chahar took six wickets for India including a hat-trick. Shivam Dubey got three successes.

Apart from this, he has also become the fourth Indian bowler to take five or more wickets in a match. Apart from Chahar, Shivam Dubey took three and Yuzvendra Chahal took one wicket. Mohammad Naeem scored the most runs for Bangladesh. Naeem scored 81 runs. Apart from him, Mohammad Mithun contributed 27 runs.

However, after the dismissal of Mithun (27) at the score of 110, the pace of the runs of the visiting team slowed down. Mithun also showed the path of the pavilion. Mushfiqur Rahim could not open his account, he was dismissed by Shivam Dubey. Naeem, playing at one end, could not stay at the crease for much longer. Batting first, India scored 174 runs at the loss of five wickets in the prescribed 20 overs and gave Bangladesh a target of 175 runs to win. For India, Shreyas Iyer hit 62 runs, scoring the first half-century of his T20 career. Lokesh Rahul scored his sixth half-century of T20 career. Rahul was out after scoring 52 runs. Apart from him, Manish Pandey contributed 22 not out and Shikhar Dhawan contributed 19 runs. Sober Sarkar and Shaiful Islam took two wickets each for Bangladesh. One wicket was taken by Al Amin Hussain.
India was hoping for a good start with the pair of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, but Team India got the first blow as Rohit Sharma on a total of 3 runs. Saiful Islam bowled Rohit Sharma. Rohit returned after scoring 2 runs. After Rohit’s dismissal, India’s run slowed down on pace. Before the end of the powerplay, Shikhar Dhawan (19) was caught by captain Mahmudullah off Saiful Islam.
Shikhar hit 4 fours off 16 balls. Lokesh Rahul scored 52 runs and was dismissed by Al-Amin. Rahul shared a 59-run partnership for the third wicket with Iyer. Rishabh Pant bowled by Soumya Sarkar for 6 runs. Shreyas Iyer was dismissed for 62 runs.
Bangladesh captain Mahmudullah Riyadh won the toss and decided to bowl and invited India to bat first. India made a change in their playing eleven. Manish Pandey was given a chance in the playing eleven in place of Krunal Pandya. Bangladesh replaced Mohammad Mithun in place of Mossadik Hussain.
