Corona update : The first consignment of the covidshield vaccine departs from the Serum Institute, to be transported nationwide by plane
The delivery of Corona vaccine has started from Monday itself.
Government of India has ordered 1 crore 11 lakh doses to SII. The supply of Corona vaccine which has started from today.
Vaccine-laden containers left the Serum Institute amid widespread police protection.
In the first phase, there are 3 crore people will be vaccinated with Corona. In view of this, doses of vaccine are being sent to different cities of the country.
Doses of the covishield vaccine are being sent in special freezers via trucks and aircraft from the Serum Institute of India, Pune.
The first flight left for Delhi Airport at 8.11 am.
The Corona vaccine will be sent from Delhi to different parts of the country.
In the coming few days, covishield vaccine will be supplied in Gujarat, MP and Haryana through 5 more container trucks.
Explain that in the first phase, the Government of India has ordered 1 crore 11 lakh doses to SII.
